A march took place in the middle of Market Street today, Saturday October 27, 2007. I would estimate between 400-700 people involved in the m arch which was in support of Pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mens Soccer: Temple Vs. LaSalle

Temple Freshman, Kenechukwu Nwanah shields the ball from a LaSalle defensefen en route to the net during saturday's game. The Owls picked up the victory winning 2-0.

Temple forward Brian Henderson gets tripped up during the first half of Temple's win over Lasalle Saturday afternoon.

Despite Lasalle's tough defense in the first half, Temple netted two goals in the second half to secure the victory.

Despite his best efforts, the Lasalle goaltender never had a chance at this beautiful free kick by Mike Minai in the second half, putting the Owls up 1-0.


Temple midfielder/forward J.T. Noone could not capitalize on an empty net late in the second half. The Owls won the contest 2-0.

Lasalle's goaltender can only watch as Derek Ludlow's kick nestles itself in the upper right corner of the net. Ludlow's goal put the Owls up 2-0 late in the second half.

International Dragon Boat Race

The Kay Crusaders (neon) maintained a steady lead

throughout their first race Saturday at the International
Dragon Boat Race held at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia.

line in the fourth race of the afternoon.

Some of the drummers on the boats donned costumes. The
drummer of the Upper Darby Police, wore a pig costume... get it ;)
